What doe the return program mean with lexmark toner cartridge?

I have a new Lexmark toner cartidge wtih Lexmark Model 12A6830 Return Program Toner Cartridge and I don't know what that means.

1. the return program is a way for lexmark to refill or remanufacture their own cartridges and still make a profit off it. the toner you got should work just like a new one.
