where to find used large format printer plotters?

looking to find a good source in the San Diego or north county area for used printer plotters. Could be pen or digital. Something like an hp 1050C. really anything that'll produce 36" wide sheets

1. Generically, try craigslist. However, since you live where hp's large format business was managed from for 20 years, check with your neighbors for any excess inventory. The offices in Rancho Bernardo may have an answer. I believe the current HQ for the business is actually in Barcelona, Spain, but the heritage is strong in RB. Call and ask for facilities, then try and get whoever manages equipment disposition. Good luck!
