I am having troubles with my HP Photosmart 7260 photo printer, can anyone help?

I have had this printer installed on this computer for one year. For the last two months, the pictures have been printing out really dark. I have installed new ink cartridges. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. The pictures print perfect from other printers. This printer has printed pictures of really good quality in the past, and I really like it. Can someone please tell what to do to fix this problem?

1. Hmm it can be a lot of things. Might be the Printer Header.. have u tried cleaning it?? if it's still under warrenity contact HP.. i'm sure it's the Printer header.. try cleanin it wiithe the Software cleaner it came with.. if not i smell a new printer.. lol.. thats all i can think of. but try the Hp printer cleaner that should fix the problem. Usually it's in the perfence properties when u want to print. play around u'll find it... GOOD LUCK!
2. u just need service of ur printer. try to install that printer on other pc and then check wether its having same prob. if yes then then ur printer need services. if no then u have to remove all printer driver(from registries and temp files also) then restart ur pc then re install it it will work
