hp photo printer saying i do not have a connection what do i do?

1. Try shutting down the computer and printer. check all the cables. If the problem persists than Uninstall printer. Then Reinstall.
2. Right click C:. left click disk management, see if there is a + before Universal serial bus. If not reinstall software.
3. if ur trying to scan and getting the error. check the web site hp.com if they have scan diagonstic utility for ur printer.
