HP Photo printer Photosmart 385?

Hi, I have this printer. Usually just put camera directly in, but now im tryin to print from computer.. Unfortunately its never been installed on computer, and ive lost the cd, so it wont let me use it. Does anyone know where i can get a FREE download to install it.. HP website offers the cd but you have to buy it, and since i already bought the printer i dont want to buy more things, just need a free version so i can install and use on computer? Pllease please help. Photo emergency! when i do that drive thing, thats just like updates.. tells me its not installed so it cant go further... To install it you have to buy?
