hp laser jet 4100N printer problem?
When I print overdue notices from the computer, everything prints fine except wherever there is a letter 'h' it prints a letter 'p'. When I print anything else from any other source, it prints fine. is this a software problem? A hardware problem? How to fix this silly problem? When I print the same notices on a different printer, the print is fine.

- Look for the printer drivers that came with the printer or go to the HP website and upload the drivers for your printer. Once you have the drivers, delete the old ones and install the new ones. Restart your computer.
- Go on line to HP....download the software for your 4100N printer...it will write over your program now. restart your computer....it should be fine.
- HP support will give you the answer
- Try simply openeing "notepad" or "wordpad" and typing abcdefghijklm nopqrstuvwxyz press print and check output If that's OK it's a conflict betrween your program and the driver If it's got the error, uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the printer Also worth doing it open printer properties andclick "print test page" and read the text on that see if P and H get crossed over- VERY VERY unlikely to be a problem on the printer, it is almost 100% a software issue.
