Hp 1018 laser jet printer and Vista ??

hi, i bought hp 1018 i could install it with xp, win 98 and can't do so with Vista !! what the hell ?! Please if you have had the same problem tell me how to fix it and how did you manage to install hp 1018 with Vista 32bit ?? 33 minutes ago - 3 days left to answer. Additional Details I've downloaded from HP website drivers but it's not good, i've installed those drivers I reboot, connect usb cables and switch on printer. it starts to search for drivers then it says i should find it mysels i do so and i chose drivers I just installed. any way it says again that windiws encountered problems while trying to install drivers for the printer. And that one of the installers can;t do the job or sth like that. Anyway you get the opicture what i'm talking about. And it suggests afgain to visit the website of the manufacturer. how can i remove drivers I've installed? they are not present in add/remove software not working :(

1. instead... let windows vista search drivers itself from online.. bcoz most of the hardware do not supports vista drivers signing specially old hardwares. remove drivers u installed .. plug USB cable of printer to comp.. on it.. and when vista ask.. let it search online ... or u can use windows vista inbuilt windows update feature.. if drivers are made for u rprinter.. then it will installed direclty from online
