HP Laser jet 4 Plus printer?

I have a HP Laser jet 4 Plus printer and when I turn it on it constantly beeps very loudly. Nothing shows up on the digital screen saying something is wrong either. This printer is fairly new (1yr) and was working perfectly before it was unhooked from one computer and hooked up to another. I do not believe that the problem is the printer but rather something I haven't done right. Does anyone have a HP Laser jet 4 Plus printer that would know what it could be? Can anyone help me?

1. Make sure you have installed the software onto the new computer. After that go to control panel > printers and fax > rigth click on HP > set as primary printer.
