HP laser jet printer enlarges font when printing envelopes?

have a hp laser jet 4200 i need to print envelopes in ms word when i do that the font becomes enlarged if i set it to a 10 in word it looks like a 16 comming out. i use a manual feed tray to print envelopes. now if i print them without using the evelope tool in MS word the size is fine. but this wont work because the text dosent rotate. this is a network printer and this happens to every pc i try from. im pretty sure its a stupid setting that needs to be changed on the printer but dont know which one. i did set the tray that i use to print these things to envelope but that didnt work and also reinstalled the printer driver still nothing. anyone have any ideas? this is from word 2003.

1. Click on preferences, there should be a setting for fonts, if not, look under advanced settings.
2. G'day. I run a Lexmark 3/1. Try and find your manual for the printer. On mine in the troubleshoot section you have the option of printing small-Medium- or Large print. Regardless of the font the PC sends from Word.
3. I would rotate the envelopes and the settings and print it in word, you should also be able to print in a smaller font than 10, good luck hope that helped.
