Is it possible to print White Ink with an HP Laser Jet printer or possibly with Photoshop CS2?
I am attempting to create a transparent label for a wooden surface, and I am unable to find a way to print white ink. Is it possible to print white ink with an HP Laser Jet printer or are there any applications in Photoshop CS2 that allow you to print white ink?

- Most non-professional printers will not allow this. White is generally the paper color so not printing goes there.
- Uh that would be a no... White ink is a Speical ink that can't be made with CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black: those are the colors that are put down to make printouts)...what you can do...is go to someplace like Staples or Kinkos with your file (call them up and ask printing places if you don't have one of these near you and ask them if they can print something from a file and what kind of files they accept) and have them print it for you. I've had to do this before because I'm a Graphic Design Major. And having Photoshop doesn't mean anything. Yes it's a great program but you can only put out what your desktop printer can make...and you can't make white with blue, red, yellow and black. You CAN get printers that print on dark surfaces but they're expensive! That's why only places that specialize in printing have them.
