Don't ever pay dealer prices unless they are having a special sale CHECK EBAY THE HAVE PHOTO ALL IN ONES FOR LESS THAN $ 50.00 BUCKS INCLUDING SHIPPING.
I've got a C3180 and I am very happy with it, having the scan and photocopy functions are a bonus. The cost of ink as with all printers needs to be considered,(scope these out along with refills), so does the photo quality paper, keep your playing to a minimum, and keep your settings at low ink usage unless high quality is needed. P.S Mine is also an HP only household so I may be a little biased here...
Why don't you do the net search for Hp C5280 printer reviews. You can get a better ideas of the product from the official reviewer(s) and sometimes from endusers.
