- brand and model number, thats all you will need to know to get the right ink. Yes it should hook up to any computer. You might need to get the drivers for the printer, you can get that at the printers website. Just look for drivers for your printer.
- 1) yes it will. (I have a hp printer with a gateway computer and who knows how many types of computers r in my computer lab but they all print stuff from hp printers) That is unless there are complications with your printer i.e. parts broken, wires missing ect. just hook up ur printer 2 ur computer, if u need help go 2 Help and Support on the start menu and they will help u with everything from hooking up ur printer to installing it. 2) 4 the ink part, lift up the middle protion of your printer by finding the space where paper comes out from when printed and lift the big heavy part on top. (sorry if this is confusing) at first u think ur going 2 brake it but it really does lift. then two cartridges will slide out and on them will say the numbers of the ink u need. (this happens only when ur printer is instulled and working) hope i helped.

- Yes, it should hook- up to any computer; first you will have to have an USB cable , and second you will need a disk of set-up instructions that should have been sold with it . Third you'll need to know the series # of you're printer (ex: mine is a F300 series ,) (to buy the right ink cartriges). Fourth you will need copy paper, If it dosen't come with the instructions & disk don't fool with it you can't buy the instructions separate; they come with the printer. My advice to you is get you a printer from Wall-mart, you can get get them for $50.00 on sell, I my opion when you buy (electronics) at a yard sale you're buying some else's problems. I buy my ink at 4 Inkjets, just type in 4 Inkjets in you're search engine.
