  1. Either way if you just want to get rid of it or make money... you've gotta price it cheap. I usually do 25 cents on all shirts, 50 cents on pants and try to keep everything at or under a dollar.
  2. well you can do this start them off with $10.00 and explain to them why so high if they comment on anything then you can start making deals then,do like a auction let them give you a price and either go up or down or come to an agreement of some sort,I wish you goo dluck, nothing more better than a yard sale .I love to go to them and i love to have them my self.
  3. I'd price them at a level that would be attractive to myself, if I were the buyer. Be aware that buyers are often going to try to bargain down with you. That's why I soured on the idea of yard sales...too many people wanting something for nothing. There is good info here: http://www.navl.com/HouseHold/Ed/GarageSale/PricingGuide.aspx http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/192023/garage_sale_pricing_dos_and_donts.html
  4. Figure out what you think is a fair price and then double it, so you have some bargaining room. No matter how cheap you price something, somebody will come along and want it for less. You can start off there and if things aren't moving well put up a "1/2 Off!!" sign.
  5. I would have categories: all new stuff, gently used, heavily worn and used those are just examples, make your own categories to fit what you think will work. Instead of marking each item by pricing individually, use color stickers. Example: red sticker $5, Blue Sticker $4., green =$1.00, then have a box for everything25 cents or 50 cents, then categorize them by color so they are easier to shop and keep up with for you. Books usually don't get much - paperbacks 25 - 50 cents, hard cover usually no more than 1.00.
