i was able to print on a hp printer from my wireless laptop, printer being connected to a win 98 computer.?

it show an ip address as the printer. I changed it out for an epson and now it won't recognize that printer. I still do have access to the win 98 computer on my laptop.......helpppppp! I did shut down my norton software. no change........

1. install ur epson driver in ur pc.
2. Sometimes printers and computers are finicky. Shutdown both of them and uplug them for 30 seconds to make sure they reset.
3. you need to add the new printer to your laptop now, or in other words on your laptop go to printer, then add printer which will be a network printer and from there you should be able to find the new epson, just make sure the computer the printer is connected to is on as well.
