- Easiest way? Connect one printer to one PC on your network and the other to another and then setup file and print sharing on all systems. You will then be able to access any printer from any PC.
- Ok, Then What's The Problem...You Should Have Atleast 2 USB Slots On Your PC...If Not Get More, Like $10....Since They Are Both USB, Just Hook Em Up...No Problem There..
- Get a wireless print hub from linksys or netgear, power up, plug in, and print.
- You can accomplish this in one of two ways: 1) Connect both printers to your desktop PC and share them by right -clicking the printer and selecting options on the "Sharing" tab. OR 2) Purchase JetDirect cards (or external JetDirect boxes) for your printers that will give them their own netowrk address to use. That way, you can have them anywhere in the house! Good luck!
- The others don't seem to be looking very hard at the PSC part of the HP PSC 750.. I own this one also, and I can tell you that by getting a wireless print server, you will not be able to use all the functions (scanner..) The only way to get full usage of all the features would be to install the printers on a pc that is always on (or at least on when you want to print from other pc's) - this way, the other PC's will see the scanner through the always-on pc. (note: I've had mixed luck with the bloated HP drivers in getting the scanner to work with other pc's.. it is possible, but not always easy) If you don't care about the scanner function, and your printers aren't near an always-on pc, get a couple of usb wireless printservers.. D-Link and Linksys make some decent ones that you set up via your browser.. Good Luck!
