HP officejet wireless connection?

I recently added a wireless printer server for my HP officejet 6110. Everything seems working fine except that the scanner function no longer works. I can neither start the scanner from the printer nor open the HP director software from computer, unless I reconnect the printer to computer directly. Any suggestions?

1. There are many "print servers" that do not include functionality to do scanning. Check with your manufacturer's support forums for additional help.
