1. If the printer isn't wireless, then you can get a wireless print server, connect the printer to your wireless network and connect to the printer by IP address

3. Like the first guy said, your printer needs to be wireless, unless your router has the capability to add printers to the network, most will have a small picture on the back of the box the cam from and you will need a two way USB conector. Good luck
