  1. Check out HP's website to see if there is a driver abvailable for that model for Vista.
  2. Run the CD and follow the instructions or download and install the driver from the HP's website: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=501857&lang=en&#
  3. The worst thing that can happen - you won't be able to get your printer to work. Turn the power off and hook it up. It will probably install itself when you turn the power back on. Even if it doesn't, go ahead to the HP website and download the latest drivers and install them. *That* should do the trick.
  4. Hi Ozark There are native drivers to Vista built in for that printer. Just plug in the USB cable and away you go.
  5. Hi There -- It looks like there is in fact a WIndows Vista driver available for your printer. If you have the CD -- just put it in the drive and the installation should be a breeze. If you are not certain if you have the newest driver - you can always download it from HP's web site (see the link below) http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=501857&lang=en The "full" driver and software download is bigger - but has all the "extras". THere is even an uninstaller utility if you need to get rid of an older driver (if you upgraded your computer).
