where can i download HP software to install a printer?

i have been trying to connect my printer to my computer but i need the installation cd, and i kinda misplaced it so i heard i could just download it straight to my computer...any suggestions???

2. Go to http://www.hp.com and go to the drivers and support section. Search for your model printer, and download the driver.
