I was registering my new hp laptop but i missed out a point?

i registered my new hp laptop. after registering i forgot to give one information, the location from where i purchased my laptop. is the information vital?

1. Not especially, no. However if, for whatever reason, in the future when you call for service they need to know where you bought it, they will ask, and then they will amend your registration. The date when you bought it is far more important.
