I have a HP digital camera pics are coming out white?

I have a HP digital camera was working great .. all of a sudden all my pictures I take at a distance turn white I can see some of the image. When I take the picture real close in my home it is fine really need help thank you

1. this may be that you have somehow switched the camera onto a manual mode and you have dialled in settings which are massively overexposing the image, so check to mode dial isn't in M or S,P,Tv,Av,P etc. if it doesn't have a mode dial the mode will be somewhere in the camera menus. hope this helps
2. it needs repaired by HP
3. This might be a sensor in your camera going bad. If the sensor is going, then you will have no problem in shaded areas, but any pictures taken in bright areas will cause the pictures to turn out white.
