How laptop brands differ?

All the laptop companies like Dell, Lenovo, Hp, etc buy their mother board, processor and other accessories from Intel, AMD, etc. When checked the configuration most of the laptops have same motherboard and processor. Then how can we say that one brand gives better performance than others ? Like we say Lenovo or Dell is best and gives excellent performance? Please say how a brand is best even when they have same motherboard and processor purchased from other companies

Plus certain parts will always be the same, but you have not looked at the RAM, or Hard Drive, or CD Drive, of Speakers, all these things are generic and bought from different generic companies. Also the way it is placed in side can be added cooling or not. Some of the best companies though are custom PC manufacturers which do not use generic parts but premium parts.
