I wanna be nice but she is mad!?

my friend needs a new laptop so my friends and i decided to all pitch in money together to get her one for her birthday. the thing is we have been going through some issues and i still want to be friends with her so i have a few questions 1. we cam up with about $500 but want to use some of the money for laptop accessories. i heard the HP laptop model 2009-219DX was good, but i dont know for sure. is it good or bad? cuz i dont wanna give her something bad and then she gets more mad at me. 2. will it look like im trying to buy back the friendship? she really needs a new laptop and i thought it would be nice to give her something she really needs, but i dont want her to say "money doesnt buy friendship" and get all mad. please help! her birthday is soon!

1. I get her a card and call it good if she mad at you she might be really hurt that you try to help buy her lap top you could put a few dollors in card and call it good and wait till christmas and see how things go
