Which laptop should I get? ?
Best buys is having some good laptops for sale this week and I am wondering which laptop I should get. I am using the laptop for building and making apps. Should I get the Toshiba Satellite or HP Pavilion? ================================= Toshiba Satellite: Price: $379 Screen: 15.6" RAM: 3GB DDR3 Hard Drive: 320GB Processor: Intel i3 2nd Generation HP Pavilion: Price: $429 Screen: 15.6" RAM: 4GB DDR3 Hard Drive: 500GB Processor: Intel i3 ================================= Personally, I am not quite fond of Toshiba because of the laptop's design. I also hear that they break quite easily. However, I have not had any Toshiba laptop experiences so if may have had, please comment below. What I am asking is: Which is the better laptop? (In terms of design, resistance (how long the laptop would last before it breaks down), processing, functionality)

- I would pay the extra and go for the HP, it has better hardware installed and is built by a much better company. the extra 50 dollars is well worth it i think. i have known many Toshiba's to break down and ive known many HP's to last almost forever.
- buy the HP the difference between i3 2nd gen and 1st gen is small, and he have 4gb ram ddr3 and a bigger hard drive.HP have a excellent tech support!
- The HP Pavilion has better specs and they tend to last longer than toshiba laptops. Also way better quality build. So It'll be a worth while laptop opposed to the Toshiba.
- im have and am using the sattelite now.its a amazing computer but comes with loads of crap you have to unistall strait away that just take up memory...so id say toshiba sattelite for all the things you listed but if you are planning on playing games (games you have to install such as RPG's) this laptop is crap and slow using games like league of legends and more but is fast with games such as minecraft...hope i helped ohhh but my friend has a hp pavillion and its way worse than this soooo if possible id choose one thats not on that list? btw ive had this for over a year and few scratches but in perfect condition...ive even dropped off the top of my house with only a scratch....i tend to sit on the roof when i need air...
- The cheaper one. You are unlikely to hit the processing limits of either unless you are a hard core video gamer or are editing video. Suppose either lasts 12 months until the case cracks, it falls into the swimming pool, or the keyboard gums up. The first one costs you a little over $1/day and the second $1.25.
- The HP seems to be better but Toshiba Satellites are good too. I have a Satellite and have been using it for at least 3 hours a day and it is just as good as the day that I got it.

- This laptops is awesome. This laptop has the sandy bridge version of the i3 which has really strong integrated graphics card. and very quick processor. I was actually able to get around 35 FPS on Civilization V on low setting which means I could run smoothly at medium settings, which also means that you can play alot of other games like MW2, Fifa, NFS, Portal, Mirror's Edge, Red Alert 3, and games at this intensity on low settings. Fifa will surely run on medium settings. Aside from the specs, The touchpad is a little bit rough at first as if you're touching very fine sandpaper, but after a while of use you get used to it and realize that it actually works better than glossy touchpads on other laptops.
