How much do I have to wait until I can turn on my brand new HP laptop?
I got a brand new HP Pavilion G6 laptop , I already plugged it in and its charging, how long should I wait until the battery powers up so I can turn it on?

- £667 it's a rip of
- START IT NOW.
- I know it's hard, but you should probably wait 4 - 6 hours. :D
- There's no reason to wait. You can run it on the AC adapter while the battery is charging.
- At least 4 hours for initial charging. :)
- 10 seconds should do it. Just leave the laptop plugged in while using it until the battery gets fully charged. The power adapter has enough juice to run the PC and charge the battery at the same time.
- The battery needs to be charged fully to 100% before running off battery power but can be used 24/7 running off the power adapter as it charges the battery while running off the wall outlet A/C power. Have a 3 to 4 CD's formatted and ready and when prompted during set up create the system recovery disc set.
