Good gaming laptop for under 600$?

I want to buy a laptop that okay for gaming (can run games fast on low resolution, at least). Games like Minecraft. I've been looking at two laptops and am considering buying one of them, but I need to know which one is better or not. Can anyone give me links to laptops for sale? Also, the links to the two: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HP-Notebook-Laptop-2-8GHz-500GB-14-5-LED-LCD-RED-/370523184982?pt=Laptops_Nov05&hash=item5644e71f56#ht_4884wt_905 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215120

  1. 600 bucks for a gaming laptop? Maybe in fairy tale land
  2. You need to look at what video 'card' comes with it. At this price range, integrated video is normal, so you want to look for a laptop that has a discrete video card. Here is a list of performance ratings for different cards Notebook cards: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.130.0.html Benchmarks for specific games: http://www.guru3d.com/article/vga-charts-spring-2011/
  3. I've never had an acer, but I have an hp similar to yours (maybe even the same) and I have a bunch of sims games on there. It works great with the games and still runs very fast, hp is also a very reliable company.
  4. If i were you i would just save up 200 more dollars and grab the hpv6 laptop it is a great laptop and runs games well
  5. the second one is your best deal. it has a quad core processor and a dedicated graphics card. newegg also offer free shipping and no sales tax if you live outside california.
  6. Try and find one with a 6650M or GT 525M. The Llano A-Series is just coming out, might want to wait 2 weeks too see how they are priced / perform !!!
  7. i suggest you laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.0 GHz Processor, 4 GB Ram, 80 GB Harddrive, DVD+RW 14.1 inch WideScreen Display . i have this and it is pretty solid machine.
