HP photosmart c5180 won't print?
In Word, I go to print, and the printer is listed as HP Photosmart C5100 series. The print job icon comes up, and indeed it seems to be processing the kb of data. But then it comes up with "Deleting job", or words to that effect. The job vanishes and nothing gets printed. I replaced all the empty and expired ink cartridges, and managed to make a colour and B&W photocopy, so I know the printer is working. I'm pretty tech savvie, and this is I feel, just one of those teething problems. However, it is a bit odd hence me posting on here. The printer is hooked up to a Dell Latitude C400 with freshly formatted harddrive and fresh install of Windows 2000. Had a few problems getting the laptop to recognise it, but in the end it did, using the supplied CD-ROM with Win2000 drivers. Any experience with this appreciated I should have noted that the printer is connected by USB, not wirelessly. All the manufacturer drivers on the CD-ROM were installed.
