How can I solve my problem with lines in laser printer?

I have a HP laser jet 1010. I prints pretty well. But the problem is that it prints small vertical lines. Printer prints very nicely means no problem with print but only small vertical lines come in middle. I changed the toner but it does not cleared. Please help me with this problem.

1. It could be an alignment issue of the printing heads and/or print cartridges. Your printer will have a setting to reset and then align both of these. Check the owners manual (or the manufacturer website) for the instructions on how to d this. It's usually pretty simple.

3. Stop it as the paper is going through the machine by opening a cover or grabbing the paper and see where the lines appear, I would still suspect the toner cartridge especially if it was a recharged one.

If the lines are consistent in the same place it could be a few things but I would generally suspect either the transfer roller, fuser, or a dirty mirror on the laser scanner assembly.Especially if you've replaced the toner cartridge. The cheapest way to go would to first replace the transfer roller, the sponge roller just at the front of the toner cartridge. Do not touch this with your bare hands use latex gloves. If you get oil on it, you'll have to replace it anyway. It could also be dirty pickup or feed rollers. The lines are typically termed an image defect and HP has a set of procedures to follow for image defects. If the printer is pretty old and you've never replaced any rollers or the fuser I would suggest installing a maintenance kit. For those little laser printers like the 1000 series it can be a pain and you'd want to have a professional do it if you've not replaced those parts before. The maintenance kit will include a fuser, transfer roller, feed and pickup rollers, and a separation pad for tray 1. The last possibility would be the pickup assembly since there are little rollers in there that contact the paper.
