is there a website where I can compare up to 8 digital cameras/slrs - specs not just price?

1. Nope, not that I know of. I would just have 8 different tabs open with each camera in a different tab and compare them that way. That's what I did when I was searching for my DSLR. I also wrote down the main specs on a separate sheet of paper just to be a little more organized. You could also print out pages about the camera specs and compare them that way. Good luck!
