How to install a Samsung ML 2240 (mono laser printer) to a MacBook?

I installed the software from the CD I have. But still don't find the printer added to the printer option on my macbook. I'm still not able to print. any idea?

1. Open a document that you want to print. Press ⌘ P. Click to add a printer. If that leads nowhere, check the cable, reinstall the latest driver from the Samsung website.
