How can I restore my hp pavilion ze4300 to store bought settings?

My laptop was bought from a friend and she did not have the installation discs and I am trying to restore my laptop to it's store bought settings. So is there a way I can do this?

2. I have a DV7 HP notebook PC. If your laptop is new, you should be able to restore to factory defaults from your hard drive. The OS is stored on your own laptop. No need for DVDs.
3. You mean with the bloatware any everything? Don't do it. If you have a virus or something, just use DBAN and reinstall the OS. If you're selling your laptop, then you MUST use DBAN and reinstall the OS. You'd be surprised what kinds of information is never deleted by your computer, and how deleted information is recovered with some free programs you can find online.
