Has anyone any advice on Laptop - HP 6G2-b28SA?

I am looking for a new laptop and HP G62-b28SA is currently on sale in Currys/PC World. It really seems a good price with quite a lot of money off, and wondered if anyone has any views on this model.

  1. i was thinking about getting that too, the specs are great but i would recommend going into your local pc world or currys and actually having a look at the laptop. i thought the texture of the mouse pad might get annoying, and as far as i can remember, it doesn't have a numeric keypad on the right hand side of the keyboard, and you might want to see how easy it is to type on it too. Other than that it was great for around that price and similar specs i am getting a toshiba from argos, you could have a look at those if you like. hope this helps :)
  2. for a good brand machine that comes in red or blue it has lots of hard drive space to save stuff. also lots of memory and is without doubt a good spec machine for general use. you might not get another good brand machine with the same spec for that type of money.
  3. I`m using it now and it`s a good machine got this from staples for £379-00 with free case and mouse , this was last year november they seem to do a lot of deals on this model. in my opinion if it hasn`t got i3 or more don`t bother, most seem to run with celeron at pc/currys or athlon and priced at £400-00+. not that computer literate but have found a lot of deals on g62 with nothing above celeron. but there giving you 3gb ram and 350. Only thing I`ve found with g62 is wireless has to be reset when in sleep mode, Only used it for internet and day to day tasks with a few music downloads so not used to it`s capacity. Hope that helps a little
