Does the iPad print to non-HP printers (such as the Samsung CLX-3185FW)?

I recently purchased a Samsung wireless multifunction laser printer (CLX-3185FW) for my home network. It claims to support Mac OS. I now want to add an iPad to my network, but need to know if I can print to the Samsung. Apple only publishes their connection to HP printers.
