Are laser printers actually cheaper to run than refillable inkjet?
I refill my colour and black cartridge for very little because I buy the ink online and do it myself. I cannot do this with toner in a laser printer. The toner for a Samsung colour laser wireless printer is £30. What are you experiences? How many pages does a laser printer generally do before it needs more toner? I only print letters, essays, projects etc. with colour diagrams/pictures so I am not interested in photograph quality etc.

- Yes it cheaper to run than refillable inkjet, but laser printers is more expensive. It can print 200 or more before you refill ink to the printer.
- Yes. But not cheaper to buy.
- Yes, I actually have almost always used laser printers for school and home. The toner for a laser printer does last a long time. I normally get about 1500 pages per cartridge for my printer. Although the cartridges cost 2x as much they are worth the money if you print a lot. Also not all laser printers are as expensive as people make them sound. The last laser priter I purchased was on sale for $50 new. Although that was a better than normal price, they are not hard to find for under $200.
