How to install CB541A printer toner cartridge?

There's a see through long plastic piece on the left of the cartridge its self. I don't exactly understand, do I have to pull this whole piece out? Or just a little bit of it, and then cut it?

1. If you're referring to a piece of tape looking plastic, then yes, you pull that completely out until it separates from the cartridge (pull firmly & quickly). It should be explained in the instructions that should have come with the cartridge. That is the toner sealing tape that keeps the toner fresh and from spilling out during shipment. Pulling it out allows the toner to be released to the drum in the cartridge so that it can print properly.
