Can I hook up a HP printer/scanner to a compaq computer?

Found a hardly-used HP all-in-one scanner at an estate sale for $15...is it compatible with my Compaq computer? I meant all-in-one printer/scanner THANK YOU, Both of you!!!!!!!

1. Yes. Any printer is compatible with computers. It's like saying that Dell has to make their own printers for their own computers. wrong. They go by USB ports. So the computer should be able to read the printer.You're good to go!
2. Yes. The drivers come on the disk with the printer, or you can download them from HP if necessary... It may work without loading new drivers. Just plug it in and see.
3. I have the same printer! Though, you got it half price! But ohh boy did i have trouble installing it! I suggest dontt use the software that comes with it. Go to hp.com(i'm not sure the website but i know its the hp site) and download the software from there. I took two days trying to install the printer(the scanner was a piece of cake!) until i went to the hp site and it was a breeze from there. Just make sure you get the right usb.
4. As HP is actually part of the Compaq empire the answer is 100%, yes.
