When should I replace the toner on my HP LaserJet P1505n?
I have this printer and the toner is running low. About 3/4 of the content on any given printed page does not print. I've tried shaking the toner to distribute it better; it helps, but not that much. What should I do. I hate to waste the remaining toner!

- I would get a new toner cartlage. You can continue to shake the one you have and it will get all the remaining toner out it if you continue doing that shit. But at the same time, pages that dont pring out all the information are a sign of toner about to give out. So you would at least have a new one on stanld by
- Do a search on the internet for bulk toner. Buying a replacement toner cartridge is very expensive. Buying bulk toner is a lot cheaper. You can refill your cartridge 3 or 4 times, they can send you the tool needed to cut the hole in your cartridge, some send caps to plug holes, duct tape works just as well holding toner into cartridge. Note- prices very widely, search long and hard. I have seen $100 differences. Get the toner for your printer, not just random toner.
- You can print the Supplies Status page by selecting it from the Print Information Page drop-down on the Services tab in Printer Preferences. The Supplies Status Page provides the following information: - the estimated percentage of the toner remaining in the print cartridge - the number of pages and print jobs that have been processed - ordering and recycling information . When toner is low , faded or light areas appear on the printed page. You might be able to temporarily improve print quality by redistributing the toner. To redistribute the toner, remove the cartridge from the device and gently rock it from front to back (I read your question but you knew that). I do not just have to wish you: Good luck !
