problem printing black ink to xerox printer?

I have a docu color 252 xerox printer and just recently it stopped printing black ink from programs such as Microsoft: word, excel, outlook and publisher. Using the glass or document feeder works fine but printing a file that i create on the computer or print from multiple programs don't print the black ink. I know the toner is filled to nearly 100% on all colors plus all drums are fine. This is not a problem specifically with Microsoft office, it is happening with other programs too. 1. Since you're only experiencing problems when printing from your computer with multiple applications, it sounds like you have an issue with the printer driver/software. You can go in and check your printer's print preferences & options to see if there's something that is not set correctly. The other possibility is that the driver is corrupt or something changed in your computer (software updates, new software, etc.) that is now incompatible with the driver. The next step would be to download and install the latest driver from Xerox's website.
