  1. frist one because it has more ram and hard drive space. even though the second one the cpu is faster then the frist one it sucks beacuse it has less ram.
  2. Option #2 looks to be a better option financially, if you plan to just use it for student functions because you may not need all of the memory offered in option #1 unless you plan to download many files and programs. However if don't want to use a Ethernet cord every time you want to access the internet then option #1 would be better. The security software you can get free at www.download.com
  3. I would say the first one, but as a student, you really don't need a computer this decent. If you want a cheaper one, look towards gateway or Toshiba. 2Ghz of Ram and a Centrino processor are enough for student functions, unless of course you are a gaming or design student in which case both of the above configurations would be terrible.
  4. I would suggest to buy HP G62-340us 15.6-Inch Laptop PC - Up to 4 Hours of Battery Lif An affordable notebook can be stylish, too. The HP G62-340US Notebook PC delivers productivity, reliability and fun at a great value. Watch DVDs and view photos easily on the 15.6-inch diagonal High-Definition LED display. This HP laptop looks great with the fingerprint-resistant, textured HP Imprint finish with the prism design in charcoal. The HP G62-340US Notebook PC is an all-around performer that keeps up with everything you do. Manage everyday tasks using the full-size keyboard and get fast access to email and other common applications.
