A lexmark E460 laser printer is connected to a computer that has just been upgraded to Windows Vista.?

Does lexmark provide a Vista-capable printer driver for this printer? Which level of reset is a full factory reset?

  1. There's no driver listed on the Lexmark (USA) website, my friend. In fact, the Lexmark website doesn't even recognise [recognize, if you are, in fact, one of my American cousins ... or you prefer the American spelling] the E460 as being one of their printers. I'd think that this has more to do with their website not being updated as I was able to find other websites that state they have the Lexmark E460 printer driver available. Take a look at the following website. You'll need to scroll down the page to ensure that you get the correct driver(s) as there are a number of different ones available. i.e. PCL Emulation Driver; Pilote emulation PCL Driver; Host Based Protocol driver; PS Emulation Driver; XPS driver; System Administrator Package; Application PPD files for PostScript Level 3 support. Sorry, but I'm really not sure which of these would be the correct one for you to download.
  2. 1. Search far and wide for the drivers on the merchant websites. http://www.lexmark.com 2. Download software that will find the right drivers and install them all automatically. I used to do it on my own until I discovered how easy it was to download drivers with driver update software. My favorite program is available at: http://www.drivers-updates.net/
