- Yes, each computer needs to be able to 'drive' the printer with its own software, install it on each one
- Yes, you will need to install the correct printer drivers & install the printer onto each laptop in order for them to work. If you're setup to connect directly from your computer to the printer without a router (ad-hoc), or some other wireless access point, then it may not work with other computers. Some printers will only allow one communication setup at a time. If you do have a router, then you're good to go. This printer also has the ability to receive and print from anywhere (provided it has internet access) using HP's ePrint capability. Go to the ePrinterCenter website for more information and specific terms and conditions: www.hp.com/go/ePrinterCenter Refer to the Reference Guide for more info: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02264151.pdf
- If you are facing problems in connecting a wireless printer in Windows Vista-based PC, then you need to inspect the issue that comes across and gather information regarding the same. You can also try downloading correct drivers from manufacturer’s website in case of driver-related issues.
