Where do you store the remote control on an HP laptop?

I just got my laptop, and I cannot figure out where to store it. I think that there's a slot on the right side where it might go. I can't get it open, though. Thanks for your help.

1. THERE IS A SLOT BUT IT DONT OPEN U JUST PUSH IT IN AD IT LOCKS ITSELF THERE AND WHEN YA TAKE THE REMOTE OUT U HAVE TO HOLD THE SLIDE LOCK OPEN TO GET IT OUT
