Cheap HP laptop/hard drive compatibility question.?
I have this: http://www.premiumgeeks.com/laptop/hp-laptop/hp-g60-506us-specs/ http://milo.com/hp-g60-506us-laptop It needs a new hard drive. as far as I know as long as its SATA it should work, am I correct? With that in mind would this HD work: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5509442&RSort=4&csid=ITD&body=#ReviewStart

- the first link is broken, but if the laptop is within the last few years then it should be good. just take it to best buy to see which kind of HD works to make sure, it will be free don't worry!
- If the hard drive is SATA then any 5400 or 7200 RPM SATA 2.5 inch hard drive will work. Good time to upgrade to a 7200 RPM 2.5 inch SATA hard drive with a larger size for storage of files/programs etc. Look here and price a new drive: http://www.frys.com
