how do I clean our hp laser jet 4350tn printer?
we have black streaks, looks like previously printed material, down the middle of our pages/checks that we print. Does anyone know the procedure for cleaning?

- First thing to do is try a new toner cartridge. If you don't have a new toner cartridge, print a job that has a couple pages, open the cover to access the toner, do this when the first page is about half way out of the exit. This will make a jam, but that's okay. Remove the toner cartridge, but don't touch the paper yet. Look at the paper and see if the image defect is still present on the sheet that was under the toner cartridge. If it is, then it's your toner cartridge. If it's not, it's probably your fuser. To get to your fuser, open the rear cover, remove it by squeezing in the bottom tabs. Push on the blue tabs on the bottom of the fuser, lift up slightly and pull out. Check the sleeve on the inside of the fuser (the tan one) for visible wear. Any indication of wear means you need a new sleeve, or new fuser. Try eBay. Service manual can be found at feedroller.com
