Who has an HP pavilion laptop? How do you get rid of that first screen that pops up when you turn it on?

I have an HP pavilion laptop and every time I turn it on, this screen pops up for 13 seconds. There's a tiny box on the bottom left that you have to click to make windows start. It has a black background and separated into 3 boxes that say Mail, Music (i think) and photos...anyways, i don't want that to pop up every time i turn it it so does anyone know how to get rid of it?

1. Hi Clippsey; Enter the bios and turn off the splash screen. I believe that you press F10 on a hp to enter the bios. I am not sure where it is located but it should say something about the logo\splash screen. wish I could help more Sorry
