Why is my Dell Laser Printer 1110 printing lightly after refilling toner?

Today I re-filled my toner and replaced the fuse and now it is printig lightly it's almost not legible I have tried shaking it and taking it out and putting it back in and changing the print setting from normal to dark but it's still the same!

1. Your problem is probably the toner or the fuser. You said you replaced the fuse, did you mean the fuser? The fuser melts or fuses the toner into the paper. If it isn't working, most of the toner will wipe off into the waster toner compartment. Have you used this bottle of toner or source before and if so, did it work okay? If this is a new bottle or unknown source, it could be the toner. I have refilled my HP for years and some toner has been lighter than others. But I have never had toner that light. It might be time to get a new cartridge and refill it for a while. They don't last forever you know.
