Toner Cartridge for Xerox Phaser 6120?

I have been given a xerox phaser 6120 laser printer. It works fine & I can print black and white but the 3 colour toner cartriges are empty. New cartriges are very expensive (well over £100) so I was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative? I could get them refilled with generic colour toner but are they all the same or machine specific? All info welcome
