Internet connection came with my HP?

So I have a Nintendo DSi I like to connect to the internet with. My parents got a new computer (Windows 7 HP) and went all out with accessories and even a new router. My Dad figured out how to put a WEP password on the router and won't give it to me. Oh well. This would be fine, due to having Parental Controls on the DSi that my Dad agreed to using, except for this problem. When I search for an internet connection I get the following two signals: NETGEAR (which is the router. It says it is locked and it has 0 bars even when you stand right next to it. Dad tried using the WEP on this, it doesn't work.) HP-Wireless (This is the strongest signal. It's locked as well. It suddenly appeared into the house after we got our new HP computer. HP gives off a wireless connection...? The WEP for our router doesn't work on this. So no one knows the WEP. I don't know how to find it, either. It's like the HP has it's own built in wireless router.) Any advice/help/ideas would be appreciated.
