having problems burning a CD on HP laptop :( please help?

ok so i know how to burn a cd but i got HP G60t-500 and whenever i try to burn a cd it wont. it lets me go through the whole procedure and then it shows me its burning and later when its about to finish it cancels everything and tells me it cant burn. please help me someone. I use 16x DVD-R CDs and below is the information about my laptop. last question, is it possible that my laptop cant burn any cd at all?
