What is the coil resistance for the paper feed motor on an HP Designjet 110NR Plus? Part number Q1292-60218?

We have been told that the motor could "possibly" be bad, but the technician working on it says they won't know for sure until they replace it. I used to work on printers quite a bit, and I know that if you know what the coil resistance is supposed to be (+/- tolerances) you can test it with a volt meter to see if the coils are bad or not. The technician cannot locate the coil resistance information and supposedly, HP does not supply this information in the service manual for the Designjet 110 series. Does anyone know if this information is available? If so, what are the coil resistances?

  1. We don't test things much anymore, it can be cheaper to stick a new part in than spend 2 hours probing around possibly doing more damage. There is no supposedly about HP not supplying the info, I don't know of a manufacturer that does. Buy the motor and install it yourself and pay for the estimate charge. http://www.partshere.com/online/detail.asp?partno=Q1292-60218
